Marcus Leonard Gaffney, Iii

RALEIGH – Marcus Leonard Gaffney, III, 72, passed away at home. Marcus worked as a welder for Morris and Associates. Born in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late Marcus Leonard Gaffney, Jr. and Pantha Pirkey. In addition to his parents, Marcus was preceded in death by two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda, to whom he was married 48 years; Son, Michael L. Gaffney (Mary Beth) of Charleston, SC; Two brothers, John Mac Gaffney (Tina) of Raleigh, and Stephen Victor Gaffney (Debbie) also of Raleigh; his dogs, whom he loved dearly.
