Margaret Carmella Melillo

Garner- Margaret C. Melillo, 95, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023. A native of New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret Vrola.

Margaret, known by many as Peggy, was a devoted wife and mother. She was married to her husband Stephen for 72 years.

Along with her parents Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Stephen and a grandson, Jeffrey Melillo.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Huffman, and husband Jack; sons, Robert Melillo and wife Nancy and Thomas Melillo and wife Norine; sister, Florence Ruel and brother, Anthony Vrola and wife Claire; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, November 3rd at Saint Mary Mother of the Church, 1008 Vandora Springs Rd. Garner, NC 27529. The burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, November 2nd at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Rd. Garner, NC 27529.
