Margaret J. Simmons

Margaret J. Simmons, 89, passed away Tuesday May 6, 2014. She retired from K & L Scrap Metal after 26 ½ years as a secretary. Margaret was a long-time member at Hayes Chapel Christian Church until her health kept her from attending. Margaret had an infectious smile and will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial service will be 12 Noon Friday May 9, 2014 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hayes Chapel Christian Church. She is survived by a son; Gregory Simmons; granddaughter, Tammy Butler; sisters, Lois Faw and Virginia Esser, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Bozart; sons, Tom, Ray and Jim Simmons; sister, Ethel Hales and 4 brothers.
