Margaret Jordan Best Conyers

Margaret Jordan Best Conyers, 57, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. A native of Wake County, Margaret was born August 27, 1965. She is the daughter of the late Dennis and Martha Frances Proctor Best and adoptive mother, Judith P. Best.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 1PM, at Mt. Zion Global Methodist Church, 15772 NC-50 Garner, NC 27529. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 12830 US 70 Business Highway West Clayton, NC 27520.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Chasity Stocks and husband, Eric of Garner, and Kati Conyers and boyfriend, Anthony Scrufari of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Abel, and Harper Dylan Stocks of Garner; husband, Frank Douglas Conyers, of Garner, adoptive mother, Judith P. Best of Garner; sister, Denise Hicks and husband, Jerry of Raleigh; brothers, Clay Best and wife, Susan of Garner and Raymond Best of Raleigh; brother-in-law, Steve Higgins of Fuquay; several nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family.

In addition to father and mother, Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Conyers and a sister, Brenda Higgins.

Margaret was a loving mother, daughter, sister, wife, aunt, friend but most of all she was a very proud grandma to her three favorite people. Margaret loved with her whole entire heart, and once you had a bond with her, she would never forget you.

The Family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers you consider making a donation to Chasity and Kati to help with the sudden and unexpected death of their mother.

The family will receive friends in the days prior to the services at the home of Chasity and Eric Stocks.
