Margaret Mary Schell

Margaret Mary Schell, 77, passed away peacefully in her home on November 11, 2024. A native of Fremont, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Haslinger Borer and Ervin Joseph Borer.

Margaret spent her career working in the educational and technology industries. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s high school and received her Associate’s Degree in Educational Technology.

Margaret was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, neighbor and friend to the many people she had as part of her beautiful long-lived, inspiring and spiritual life.

Margaret was active in her church community, especially as a devout Roman Catholic at Saint Mary’s church in Garner, NC. She loved to go hiking, practice yoga, exercise with her daughter, traveling to various places with her family, reading books, and continuously building new health and wellness lifestyles that her children and grand-children practice everyday. She loved to take walks on the beach, especially walks with her family. She loved listening to music, family get-togethers, and celebrating the holidays.

Along with her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband for 55 years, Donald Edwin Schell, Sr. She is survived by her three children, Mary Margaret Schell, Donald Edwin Schell, II, and Jessica May Schell and her Partner Colleen Olfenbuttel.

Margaret had 5 grandchildren: Austin Constantino, Rocco Altomare, Jr., Matthew Schell, Miriam Schell, and Jacob Schell; 4 Great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Lucas, Ryan and Ethan.

We love you Mommy, always and forever. You will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.
