COATS – Margie Holland, 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born in Avery County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Greer and Sarah Tester Greer. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 19th at 2:00 PM at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19th from 12:00-1:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Margie is survived by her daughters, Betty “BB” Ogus of Garner, Ruby “Arby” Hooton (Dean) of Dunn; son-in-law, Michael Ogus of Asheville; sisters, Naomie Williams, Martha Greer, and Mary Dean; grandchildren, DJ Lockamy, Misty Hughes (Billy), Jeremy Hooton; great-grandchildren, Miette Lockamy, Juliet Valentin, Matthew Hughes, and Sarah Hughes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert Bowden and Algie Holland; sons, Charles Bowden and James A. Bowden; brothers, David Greer, Johnny Greer and James Greer; sister, Pansy Wood.
