Maria David

Maria David quietly left this world on Tuesday, July 27th and entered into the loving arms of her Lord, Jesus. Maria suffered a brain injury when she was almost four years old leaving her in need of total care for the remainder of her life. During her life she touched the hearts of the hundreds of people who fell in love with her playful, and sometimes mischievous nature. Although she could not speak, Maria had a unique way of communicating how she felt, and what she thought of everyone she met. You couldn’t help but fall in love with Maria. She needed to be loved, and cared for, and for those persons fortunate enough to have known her, she helped give their lives purpose and meaning. Her dependence on others served as a living example of how each one of us should depend on God, and how we, like Maria, could trust in the loving kindness of our Heavenly Father. Maria is survived by: her mother, Shannon Wade, her stepfather, Tim Wade Sr., her sister, Nicole David, her brother, Timothy Wade Jr., her sister, Brittani Barnhill, her sister, Bethani Wade, her maternal grandfather, Bill Church, her uncle, Robert Church, her aunt, Katie Church, three cousins, Isabella, Ellie, and Alex Church, her uncle, James Church and her maternal great-grandmother, Dora Ashley as well as her paternal grandmother, Debbie Crumpler, her uncle, Nate Wade, her aunt, Patti Wade and two cousins, Taiylor and Brayden Wade. A memorial service will be held Friday July 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service.
