Marian Grey Brantley Neese

Marian Grey Brantley Neese R.N., C.R.N.A., 94, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022

She was the daughter of the late Wm. Barley Brantley and Julia Cleveland Brantley of Nash County, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Alson Stanley Neese.

She is survived by her two children, Julia Brantley Neese Pennington of Garner, NC and Charlie Ashton Neese of Raleigh, NC., and grandchildren, Holly Gorneau and husband, Brian of Garner, and Mallie Pennington and wife, Kaitlyn of Garner.

She was a graduate of Middlesex High School, The Medical College of Virginia, and Duke University.

She enjoyed traveling in England, France, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt. Marian loved volunteering at Rand Road Elementary School in Garner, NC. She was voted Outstanding Volunteer of the Year and runner-up of the year for all Wake County Schools. She loved reading and learning.

A private service will be held at the Mt. Herman Methodist Church Cemetery, in Graham, NC at a later date.
