Marianne Tuttobene Leonardo

Born September 11, 1944 - Rochester, NY; died February 6, 2016 – Raleigh, NC. Age: 71. Predeceased by her father Anthony, and mother Lillian (Mendola) Tuttobene, and sister Paula (Tuttobene) Cali. Beloved wife of Thomas C. Leonardo for 52 years. Beloved mother of Paul Michael Leonardo, Patricia Marie (Marc) Cavalari, Christopher Matthew (Kim) Leonardo, and Timothy Matthew (Paige) Leonardo. Grandmother of Peter Cornelius Gerritsen, Benjamin Maxwell Leonardo, Katherine Elyse Leonardo, Maleena Rose Leonardo, Brayden Anthony Joseph Leonardo, Sloane Thomas James Leonardo, Annabella Grace Leonardo, Kayleigh Faye Leonardo, and Mira Rose Leonardo. She is also survived by sister-in-law Patricia and brother-in-law Dennis O’Neill, brother-in-law John Leonardo, brother-in-law Rudy Cali, several nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews Besides being a wonderful mother and grandmother, Marianne was an artist and woodworker who enjoyed traveling and exploring her creative instincts.      She is interred at the National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC, where her husband Tom, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, will join her at his passing.      She was a great supporter of the U.S. Military, and of veterans.
