Raleigh – Marie Suggs Baker (Medlin), 83, passed away on Wednesday. She was born in Franklin County to the late David and Annie Bell O’Neal Medlin. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at Vandora Springs Freewill Baptist Church, 1521 Vandora Springs Road in Garner. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM. Burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Marie is survived by her husband, David Earl Baker; son, Ray Suggs (Tammy); grandchildren, Candice Brown (Heath), Megan Suggs, and Christopher Suggs; stepchildren, Billy Baker (Angela) and Tammy Collins (Mike), numerous step-grandchildren; and brother, David Medlin (Janet).
