ANGIER - Marilyn Kay Sauls, 59, passed away on Monday. A native of Wake County she was the daughter of the late William Earl Blackburn and Elizabeth Fryar Blackburn. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Ann Blackburn.She was a member of Six Forks Baptist Church.She was the bookkeeper, secretary, and treasurer of B & B Paving Company, Inc. from 1972 until 2000. After the death of her father, Kay suffered a stroke in 2000 and was disabled and was not able to return to work. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, from flower arranging to scrap booking. She was a beacon of love for her family and will be greatly missed. She was strong in her faith and knew that she would be with the Lord one day. Sadly for us that day has come only too soon.She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Sauls; son, Kevin Sauls and wife Melanie; grandsons, Tyler, and Justin, granddaughter, Katie and step-grandson, Mitch and fianc, McKenzie, brothers, Danny Blackburn and wife, Pat, Billy Blackburn and wife, Barbara, sisters, Faye Scott, Shirley Huyett and husband, John; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial to follow at SandyGroveCemetery.The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and at other times at the home
