Marion “Mitzi” Klein Gray

GARNER - Marion “Mitzi” Gray passed away at her home on April 26, 2016. Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Eleanor Klein. Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 29 at First Presbyterian Church, Garner, with visitation to follow. She is survived by Walter Parks Gray, her loving husband of 61 years; daughters Leslie Grady (Jack), and Robin Dunn (Mike); grandchildren Laura DeBoer (Kevin), Michael Grady, Robert Dunn (Katie), and Emily Dunn; sisters Joan Ennis (Red) and Susan Kilmon (Scott); sisters-in-law Mrs. Beatrice Gray and Mrs. Betty Gray; and many nieces and nephews. Mitzi loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and her many longtime friends.  She enjoyed playing cards, working crossword puzzles, cross-stitching and traveling.  “Beach Weeks” were a family tradition for many, many years that she looked forward to and especially enjoyed. She fought poor health with strength and courage and was an inspiration to her family and friends.  She will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church, 503 Lakeside Drive, Garner, NC 27529.
