Mark R. Coleman

CLAYTON – Mark Russell Coleman, 41, went to his eternal home on Tuesday. Mark was an active member of Quest Fellowship Church in Garner, NC. He served proudly in the US Army. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, January 28th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 29th at 2:00 pm at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 143 Chestnut Hill Rd., Chappells, SC 29037. Survivors include his wife, Mindy K. Coleman; three brothers, Mat Abney Coleman, Jr (Tommie Ann), David E. Coleman (Shawn) and Jackson Curtis Coleman; two nieces, Lindsey C. Gunter and Christina  Coleman and one nephew, Alex Coleman; mother and father-in-law, Jan and Ed Koontz. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Mat Abney and Sandra Salter Coleman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mark’s memory to Quest Fellowship Church, 5120 Raynor Rd. Garner, NC 27529.
