GARNER – Mark Stephen Conlow, 73, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 6, 2023. A native of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Francis Conlow and Florence Marie Conlow. Mark was a loving husband, father, and devoted grandfather.
Mark married the love of his life and best friend, Carolyn Kuban-Conlow. They had 31 wonderful years together and raised two daughters whom Mark loved very dearly. Mark will be remembered fondly by his family and friends as a man of great humor, kindness, and strength.
Mark was a generous soul who loved his family and friends unconditionally.
Mark was a graduate of La Salle College High School and Ottawa University. In between he served in the Air Force Reserves. After an honorable discharge Mark spent most of his career with the Morton Salt Company where he worked in sales for 30 years.
Mark loved the ocean and spent as much time with his toes in the water as possible. He took great joy in calling people on their birthdays. He enjoyed driving, exploring, and visiting new places, telling jokes and puns, both good and not so good ones, spending time with family and friends, and cheering for his favorite Philadelphia sports teams, the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers and Flyers.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Kuban-Conlow; daughters, Camellia Spivey (Charles), and Jennifer Orrick (Jason); brother, Paul Conlow (Annie); and grandchildren, Max Orrick, Julia Orrick, and Charles Spivey.
