Martha Adell Mckeel Boykin

GARNER- Martha Adell McKeel Boykin, 83, died Saturday. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Roby and Elizabeth Evans McKeel. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Garner, the WMU and the Eastern Star. After many years of service, Mrs. Boykin retired as a manager with Bank of America. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her sister, Evelyn Allen of Smithfield; brothers, Willie McKeel (Lessie) of Princeton, Worth McKeel (Janet) of Goldsboro and Richard McKeel (Nova) of Selma. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Guilford Boykin; son, Wade Boykin; daughter, Carolyn Boykin; brothers, Ralph, Billy Ray and Gene McKeel and sister, Rachel Parrish. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
