Martha Enedina Carranza

MIDDLESEX – Martha Enedina Carranza, 42, passed away peacefully on, August 2, 2024. She was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, on July 11, 1982, and was the daughter of Gerardo Carranza, and Emilia Carranza.

Martha was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be remembered fondly by her family and friends as a woman of great strength and conviction. She lit up a room with her smile and love for others. Martha wanted to be a testimony to others and that she was! She brought unity and love in her last days here on earth. Martha enjoyed singing, shopping, traveling and was a lifetime Dallas Cowboys fan but anyone could tell you that what she enjoyed the most after all her nieces and nephews were her naps.

Martha was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Rufino Fraire; paternal grandfather, Silvestre Carranza; paternal grandmother, Seturina Vitela and her greatest non-human best friend Roxy.

Martha is survived by her loving parents, Gerardo Carranza, and Emilia Carranza of Middlesex, NC; brothers, Jose Silvestre Carranza and wife, LeRhonda Carranza of Middlesex, NC, Gerardo Andriel Carranza and wife, Diana Carranza of Middlesex, NC, Abram Carranza and partner, Karina Corral of Kenly, NC; nephews, Ethan Carranza, Anthony Coyt, Jacob Carranza, Ellis Carranza, and Benjamin Carranza; nieces, Emma Carranza, Aisleen Coyt, Juliah Carranza, Eden Carranza, Lucia Carranza, Genava Carranza, and Kamila Carranza.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 12:00pm beginning at The Temple of Pentecost, 2312 Lake Wheeler Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603. The family will receive friends and family for a period of visitation an hour prior to the service. A committal service will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, 504 S Smith Street, Clayton, NC 27520.
