Martha “Marty” C. Partin

WILLOW SPRING – Martha Louise Carraway Partin, 62, passed away at her home on Friday. Born in Sumter, SC, Marty was the daughter of the late Samuel Leroy Carraway, Sr. and Evelyn Nesbitt Carraway. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Hershell Partin; daughter, Jessica Hawkins (David) of Apex; son, Travis Partin (Sydney Bryan) of Raleigh; her granddaughter, Ava Hawkins who was the light of her life; sister, Cynthia Carraway of Higginsville, MO; brother, Samuel L. Carraway, Jr. (Betsy) of Sumter, SC; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her dog, Bailey. In addition to her parents, Marty was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Carraway Flanagan.
