Martin "Marty" Thomas Kratus

Martin "Marty" Thomas Kratus, 75, passed away at home suddenly April 16, 2021. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Martin was the son of the late Martin Manning and Jesse Kratus. Martin was a Master Brewer for Miller Brewing Co., and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM Wednesday April 21, 2021 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner, with Military Honors. The family will receive friends after the service. Along with his parents, Martin is preceded in death by 2-sisters, Marcia Barry and Barbara Fromen. He is survived by his wife, Jill Schuldt Kratus; daughters, Marla K. Nesta, Mandy Becker and husband Nathan and Missy Oosterveen; 6-grandchildren, Davis Oosterveen, James Nesta, Mackenzie Nesta, Matthew Nesta, Harlee Oosterveen and Kennedy Becker, along with his dog, Hunter and cat, Bella.
