Marvin Cleo Beavers

Marvin Cleo Beavers, 90, died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center. A native of Duplin County, he was the son of the late Elbert Roy Beavers and Mattie May Hill Beavers. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Annie Grady Beavers; daughter, Connie Beavers Seagroves and husband, Jeff of Clayton; son, Don Beavers of Raleigh; brother, Eugene Beavers and wife, Esteen of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Hannah and Jordan Seagroves of Clayton, Ashley Beavers McCurdy and husband, Tom of Folsom, CA; Lauren Beavers of Four Oaks; great-grandchild, Thomas McCurdy IV of Folsom, CA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beavers was preceded in death by brothers, Elbert and Ray Bruce Beavers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
