Mary Catherine Beni

Catherine passed away in her home on February 18, 2024 at age 71 surrounded by her family after a long battle with COPD. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; two sons, Christopher and Jason; daughter, Amy; brother, Charles; two sisters, Patsy and Sharon; and four grandchildren, Caleb, Landon, Maya, and Ella. Catherine and Joseph shared 43 wonderful years of marriage together.

Catherine grew up in the small town of St. Pauls, NC. She met the love of her life in Fayetteville, NC to whom she married only a few months later. She then moved to Wilmington, DE and expanded her family. Her children and grandchildren brought an immeasurable amount of joy into her life.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday February 25, 2024 at St. Pauls Community Church, 492 Veteran’s Road, St. Pauls, NC 28384. Interment (Private): Gardens of Faith Cemetery, Lumberton, NC.
