Mary Dorcas Stephenson

ANGIER - Mary Dorcas Stephenson, 87, passed away at Hospice of Wake County, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be at 11AM on Wednesday Jan. 1, 2014 at Plainview Presbyterian Church, Angier. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service from 10- 11 AM at the church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Stephenson; her parents; John and Louettie Peed; five sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her daughter; Jean Thornton, a son; Jeff Stephenson and wife Judy; sisters, Marie Young and Alice Coats, son-in-law Paul Thornton; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County 250 Hospice Cr. Raleigh, NC.
