Mary Ellen Brown Buffaloe

Mary Ellen Brown Buffaloe, 89, a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday. Born in Raleigh she was a graduate of Hugh Morson High School and the daughter of the late Bruce and Mattie Campbell Brown. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Catawba Springs Christian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service. Surviving: daughters, Deborah B. Williams and her husband, Thomas and Bonnie B. Tilley; son, Merrick Buffaloe and his wife Becki, all of Raleigh; nine grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Buffaloe, great grandson, Jack Campbell Williams, and siblings, Clayborn Brown, B. L. Brown, Louise Brown Watkins and Bobby H. Brown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catawba Springs Christian Church, 6801 Ten Ten Road, Apex, NC 27539
