Mary Ellen Richardson

Raleigh- Our beloved mother and friend, Mary Ellen Richardson 88 of Raleigh, NC peacefully passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at Transitions LifeCare Hospice. She is predeceased in death by her husband Carl E. Richardson.  She is survived by one son Gary W. Richardson of Raleigh, NC ; one daughter, Cheryl R. Emory of Monroe, NC;  three grandchildren Lee M. Emory and Jason M. Emory of Charlotte, NC,  and Carl W. Richardson of Raleigh, NC; two great grandchildren, McKayla and Tyler Emory of Charlotte, NC. She was passionate in her love for her church, family and friends.  She carved her name on our hearts and in our memories creating a living love.  She will live on in the kindness she shared and the special love she brought into so many lives. This will help us smile again.  She will be greatly missed but remember, she is not deadshe is just away in Heaven waiting on us. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM at St. Mark’s UMC, 4801 Six Forks Road , Raleigh. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh.
