Mary Flowers Wood

GARNER- Mary Flowers Wood, 86, passed away Thursday at The Laurels of Forest Glen. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Joel Flowers and Lillie Mae Tart Flowers. Funeral Services will be 4:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be 11:00 am Monday at Hillcrest Cemetery, Hwy. 701, Newton Grove, NC. Survivors include her son, Mike Wood and wife, Jane; daughter, Sandra Paul and husband, Duffy; grandchildren, Kevin Wood and wife, April, Ryan Wood and wife, Lori, Sean Paul and Meagan Paul, all of Clayton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wood. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Anant Soni and the staff at the Laurels for their kindness and care.
