ANGIER – Mary Frances Honeycutt, 76, passed away at home Thursday. A native of Johnston and Harnett counties, she was the daughter of the late Watius Whitman and Mary Alice Barnes Whitman. Mrs. Honeycutt was employed by The Red Barn for 17 years. A visitation will be held Friday, March 13, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. A private interment will be held at a later date to be determined. Mrs. Honeycutt is survived by her husband of 35 years, Otha Honeycutt of Angier; daughters, Jo Ann Barnes of Angier and Charlotte Kelly and husband, Kevin of Wendell; sons, Kevin Jernigan and wife, Jenny of Angier and Tommy Barnes and wife, Donna of Angier; grandchildren, Clay Ausley and wife, Missy, Dalton Jernigan, Tonya Inscore and husband, Billy, and Kathy Ward; four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 111 Matthew Mill Pond Road, Angier, NC and at 243 Gran Nad Lane, Angier, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to Stevens Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, 7856 Elevation Road, Benson, NC 27504.
