Mary Jo Williamson Sandlin

Mary Jo Williamson Sandlin, 87, of Raleigh, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Mary Jo was born in Raleigh and is the daughter of late Henry Wall Williamson and Minnie Biggs Williamson. Mary Jo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.She attended HughMorsonHigh School and MeredithCollege. She worked with Raleigh Parks & Recreation for a number of years and with Mitchell Funeral Home as receptionist for more than 20 years. She was a charter member of TrinityUnitedMethodistChurch.She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Bryan O. Sandlin who died in 2008 and sisters Margaret Spence and Betty Moye.Mary Jo is survived by her daughter, Nancy Jo Pekich of Raleigh; sons, Daniel Ross Sandlin and wife Q of Port Orchard, WA and Robert Bryan Bobby Sandlin and wife Barbara of Cape Carteret; NC; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Pekich and Bryan Stephen Pekich.
