Mary Libby Elizabeth Ivey Hartman

August 14, 1936 - December 20, 2011 Garner - Libby Hartman passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at home surrounded by her family. A native of Wake County, Libby was born August 14, 1936 to the late James Thaddeus and Flora Hazel Bond Ivey. She worked for 25 years at the State Soda Shop and 11 years at General Parts. She was an animal lover through and through and had a special place in her heart for taking on strays. She loved to go to the flea markets and would go every weekend she had the chance. Above all she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister/best friend. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Garner, NC. Interment will follow at Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home. Survivors include, her loving husband of 31 years, Richard Hartman; children, Toni Suzie Smith and husband William Daniel, of Wendell, Christopher Darrell Adams and wife Melanie, of Clayton, Tiny Seljin and husband Rick, and Sherry Tresch, of Sheffield, OH; sister, Donnie Dutchess Stone; grandchildren, William Daniel Monkey Johnson and wife Tara, of Zebulon, Wayne J. Everette, Jr., of Wendell, Christopher Michael Adams, Joshua Dylan Adams, Stephen Seljin, Kristen Amber Seljin, Brandy Tresch, and Jeffrey Tresch; and two great grandchildren, Elizabeth Martin Everette and Lillian Paige Johnson..
