Mary P. Dail, 77, went to be with her Lord on Thursday evening . A native of Harnett Co., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mable Dupree Pleasant. Following graduation from Angier High School she went to work for Austin Biscuit Co. for 17 years, and worked for Lee’s Long Term Care Facility until taking a medical retirement because of health issues in 1990.. Her life was about helping others, especially those that was old and needed special help, and the young. She served the American Auxilliary Post 71 and DAV Chapter 44 in Johnston County as Commander. She enjoyed traveling with her husband until her health prevented her to continue with the things she enjoyed. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, William R. Dail, daughter, Celia Penny and husband Johnny, son, Thomas E. Young of Willow Spring; grandsons, Anthony and Laura Penny of Benson, Johnathon and Lisa Penny of Willow Spring; great-grandson Arlis Penny of Benson; step-children, W. R. Dail, Jr. of Summerfield, FL; Michael and Elba Dail of Ormond Beach, FL; Mark and Mauria Dail of Daytona Beach, Fl; and step-daughter, Cindy and Hamid Khosravani of Fort Orange, FL; four grandsons and two granddaughters of Port Orange, FL; two great-grandsons of Fl; four great-granddaughters of Fl.; and a sister, Catherin McCraven of Angier. Mary was loved by all that knew her and will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, 2458 County Line Road, Angier. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
