Mary “Sis” Tomlinson

Mary Parrish “Sis” Tomlinson, 88, died Friday. Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William Franklin Parrish and Minnie Estelle Moore Parrish. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Tom; son, Billy Tomlinson (Debbie); daughter, Peggy Watkins (Mark), all of Raleigh; granddaughters, Christy Tomlinson, Sandy McCaskill (Deac), Kelly Herndon (Kevin) and Tiffany Watkins; 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother.
