Mary Theresa Scuderi Bonin

January 5, 1925 - January 12, 2012 Raleigh - Mary Theresa Scuderi Bonin was a green-eyed girl of uncommon beauty, born in 1925 to immigrant Sicilian parents in NY, who in 1948 married Angelo Bonin, who had served in WWII. She was mother to 3 overachieving baby boomers; Andrew, Monica, Richard and grandmother to their 6 children. She lived her life and loved her family and friends ferociously. Her spirit of self-sacrifice was biblical and her deep faith created a medical miracle in her life. Her infectious laughter was incurable, her joy an intoxication with no antidote. Her bright light will forever shine in our hearts. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Rd. Raleigh, NC with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
