Mason Manly Hardy

Mason Manly Hardy, 14, of Willow Spring passed unexpectedly on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Mason was born January 20, 2006 to Christopher Todd Hardy and Gaelen Brady Welch. Mason was a joy to have around and everybody he met loved him. He was voted best hair in many of his classes and always had a smile or a laugh to share. Mason enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games, and going to the beach. Mason is survived by his father, Christopher Todd Hardy and partner, Kim Breckling-Pearce; mother, Gaelen Brady Welch; brothers and sisters, Michael Steinfeld, Ellie Hardy, Hannah Hardy, Mckenna Hargis, Seth Hardy, Emily Welch, and Olivia Fisher; a nephew, Cameron Hargis; and two nieces, Kayleigh and Karleigh Marsh. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles McKinley and Ann Routh Hardy. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, June 26, 2020, from 5:45-7:00PM, at Plymouth Church, 6104 Rock Service Station Road, Raleigh, NC 27603. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a memorial donation be made in Mason’s name to Central Children’s Home of North Carolina, 211 West Antioch Dr., Oxford, NC 27565-6990.
