Matthew Robert Stinnett, born on January 21, 1996, passed away peacefully at his home on December 26, 2024, at the age of 28. His passing was due to complications from Neurofibromatosis Type II, a condition he faced with remarkable strength and determination.
Matthew is survived by his loving wife, Sophia Stinnett; his parents, Shirley and William Stinnett Jr.; his sister, Kelly Stinnett; and his beloved dog, Arya. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who cherished him deeply.
A lifelong fan of the Carolina Panthers, Matthew's passion for football began at a young age and remained a constant source of joy throughout his life. He also found great fulfillment in gaming and live streaming, where he connected with people from all walks of life. Through these interactions, Matthew unknowingly touched countless lives with his kindness and positivity.
Those who knew Matthew remember him as a respectful, strong-willed, and caring individual who refused to let challenges define him. His independence and determination inspired many, while his warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Though Matthew is no longer with us physically, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May his legacy of resilience and kindness bring comfort to all who mourn his loss. To honor Matt's wishes there will be a "celebration of life", and the details will be provided soon.
