Maude S. Waters

GARNER - Maude Sasser Waters, 95, went peacefully to Heaven on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Neal Sasser. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.A. Waters; sons, Louis A. Waters and Johnny Waters.Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Highland Baptist Church, where she was a charter member. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her sons, Jackie Waters and wife, Sandra and Donald Waters and wife, Sylvia, all of Garner; daughter-in law, Susan Waters of Raleigh; sister, Wilma S. Casey of Dudley; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner and at other times at the home of Jackie and Sandra Waters, 1220 JR Drive, Garner.Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1305 Navaho Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609.
