Mavis Carol White

Mavis C. White, 94, passed on peacefully Saturday, 28 April 2012.Mavis was born in Orwell Ridge, PA on January 13, 1918.She moved to Raleigh, NC in 2002 after 50 years in the Rochester, NY area.She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, George M. White of Raleigh, NC, her daughter, Linda Baker of Battle Creek, MI, and her granddaughter, Heather Baker.She is survived by daughters, Lois and son-in-law Dennis Ryan of Hamlin, NY and Ruth and son-in-law Ralph Sandle, Jr. of Wake Forest, NC; sister, Shirley Green of Lockwood, NY; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.Memorial services and burial will take place at the convenience of the family.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 200 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.Arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh.
