Max Gerald Matthews

ANGIER - Max Gerald Matthews, 68 of Angier, passed away Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Oak Hill Assisted Living Center. Max was the son of the late Tiny Max and Geraldine Barbour Matthews.Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:00 Noon at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Angier. Burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.Max is survived by a son; Timmy Matthews and wife Cindy; two sisters, Katherine Deese and husband W.T., Josephine Thurston; two brothers, Julius Ray Matthews and Buddy Matthews and wife Cathy; a grandson, Timothy Matthews and one great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday from 11- 12 at the funeral home.
