Michael L. Quinn, 52, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Pamlico County, with his cherished finance’ Karen by his side. His guardian angel “Honey” Glenda Q. Walston; his mama, has him now in her loving arms in heaven. He was also predeceased in death by his stepfather Leroy Walston. Michael loved his son; he loved his family & had a zest for life! His huge heart allowed him to love friends as family. He loved the beach, lake life, grilling out, great food, and a “Yeti” cold beer. His passion included riding motorcycles with friends, singing, music, and lively conversations. He never met a stranger. His smile and compassionate care for others will be greatly missed and the family is comforted by knowing he is now with his mama in heaven. Survived by his son, Justin Michael Quinn; father, Leo Quinn; fiancé, Karen Eason and her sons, Zack Worley (Bethy & baby) and Nick Worley; his sisters, Angie Q. Medlin (Leonard), Donna Q. Hunter (Mike) & Laura Kay Thompson; niece, Sydney Medlin; nephews, Wyatt Q. Medlin & Hayden Hunter; ex-wife and mother of his son, Elaine Mozingo and lots of other special nieces, nephews, family & friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 30, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Montlawn Memorial Park. A dinner and a time of sharing memories of Michael’s life will follow the service. It will be held at his sister’s home. 102 Lexington Downs Dr, Angier NC 27501-7123 This will be a casual outdoor setting.
