Michael Penny

RALEIGH - Michael Penny, 58, passed away Thursday at Wake Medical Center. Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late Ernest Durwood Penny, Sr. and Betsy Jane Pagan Penny. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Monday at Garner United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pam Penny; sons, Chris Penny of Garner and Brian Penny of Wilson; daughter, Leigh Anne Penny of Wilson; brother, Butch Penny and wife, Frances of Garner and his grandchildren, Kaylin and Cain. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Penny Konoza. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
