Family and friends of Michael Van Settle Sr. will gather for a Celebration of Life on Thursday, October 21st, 2021. Michael's spirit was lifted up to a better place on Saturday October 16th, 2021 at 7:13 pm. He is now walking with his Savior, hand in hand. Born on September 14th, 1951, in Morehead City, Michael Van Settle Sr. was the middle child of 5 children born to Ira and Rose Settle. He was the most charismatic comedian of the family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a fighting spirit and a love for all his family. Michael Van Settle Sr. is survived by his 6 children, Vanessa Settle Page, Michael Van Settle Jr., William Ira Settle, Melissa Jean Settle, Journey Kayson Settle, Everleigh Cherish Settle and 4 grandson's John Michael McLean, Brandon Lachlan McLean, Jaxon Dean Page and Camden Drake Settle. siblings Ira Franklin Settle, Patsy Settle Whitley, Phillip Edward Settle, Rodney Earl Settle and many other family members that adored him. Michael lived his life to the fullest with love and laughter! we know he went through those Pearly Gates on two wheels the only way he would exit this world.
