Mildred Louise Clark

GARNER - Mildred Louise Coe Clark, 91, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Her greatest joy was her family and she loved being a housewife and mother. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Garner, where she sang in the choir for over 30 years and served in the children’s ministries. She further expressed her love of service as a volunteer for 20 years at Rex Hospital. She was a self-taught seamstress and enjoyed sewing for her family. She was also an avid bowler. She is survived by her son Johnny Clark and wife, Julia of Raleigh and daughter, Karen Clark Cantrell and husband, Jeff of Bristow, VA. Grandchildren include David Clark, Lauren Williams, Shannon Clark, Samantha Cantrell, Hunter Cantrell, and great-grandchildren, Bennett Clark, Cameron Clark, and Dominic Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis M. Clark, parents, John Bunyan and Luena Woods Coe, eleven siblings and son, Alan Clark. Visitation is Jan 27 at 1pm at The First Baptist Church of Garner. Funeral services will be held Jan 27 at 2pm at The First Baptist Church of Garner Graveside is immediately following the service at 3pm at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
