Mindy Quinton, 39, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Aug, 2, 2016 at her home in Raleigh, NC. Mindy was the mother of Adam Bradley (Brad) Smith Jr. who also died suddenly in 2001 at 6 years old. Mindy is survived by her parents, Billy and Marsha Quinton; a brother, Steve Quinton; sister-in-law, Casey Quinton and biological mother, Lynn Nance; and sisters, Tiffany and Casey. She leaves behind many family and friends, especially Kenny Haskins who was there for her for so many years. Mindy was born June 4, 1977 in Raleigh and was a sweet and simple gal with a big heart. She loved her family, friends, and animals – especially frogs! Mindy was an unpredictable free-spirit and never afraid to say what was on her mind, although she judged no one and would easily find the best in people. Always unselfish, she was willing to take on any project in order to help others out at her expense. She was a dedicated, hard worker who sacrificed much and was loved by many. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 1-2:30pm PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner with a memorial service at 3:00 in the chapel of Bryan-Lee. The family will hosts a celebration of Mindy’s life at the home of Billy and Marsha Quinton following the memorial service at 190 Pine Needle Drive, Angier, NC 27501. Her family requests, that in lieu of flowers: Donations can be sent to the SPCA of Wake County (http://spcawake.org/honor-memorial-gifts/) in honor of Mindy’s love for animals; OR Choose to do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone to celebrate Mindy’s giving spirit
