Minnie Allen Carroll

GARNER - Minnie Allen Carroll, 78, passed away peacefully on, November 7, 2024. She was born in Warren County, North Carolina, on March 31, 1946, and was the daughter of the late William and Eleanor Allen.

In addition to her parents, Minnie is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ennis; and sisters, Peggy Strickland, Hazel Clark, and Dorothy Gupton, all of whom she loved very dearly.

Minnie was an exceptional mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was extremely passionate of her work as a Real Estate Broker and business owner. She mentored and managed many agents during her career. Many clients and Realtors considered her a legend to the real estate industry in the area! As a prominent leader in the community she served as the first woman President of the Garner Chamber of Commerce and The Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors. The thing she was most fond of was her family, her love and commitment to her family was something to admire and was reflected in all that she did. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends and will always be remembered as a woman of great strength and conviction.

Minnie is survived by her son, Rodney Carroll (Melissa) of Garner; daughters, Charlene Koehl (Matthew) of Garner, and Kelley Caroll of Garner; grandchildren, J.R. Carroll, Tanner Carroll, Taylor Carroll, Hunter Koehl, Jessica Koehl, Tyler Brumfield, and Haley Brumfield Willis; and great grandson, Charlie Brumfield.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 17th, at 3:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends for a period of visitation after the service from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. A private family committal service will be held on Monday, November 18th, at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery, 142-198 Fairview Cemetery Road, Warrenton, NC 27589.
