Miriam Lynch Burgess

Willow Spring- The beloved Miriam Lynch Burgess, 66, passed away Saturday, January 18th. She was a native of Durham County and cherished by all. Miriam was the proud owner of European Hair Design and Miriams Hairstyling of Raleigh. After retirement, she resumed full-time employment at Sams Club for a period of 15 years. Memorial Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 25th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Survivors include her daughters, Melinda Pleasant Earp of Raleigh and Donna Pleasant Reisser of Garner; step-daughters, Kim Robbins and husband, Mark of Louisburg, and Sherry Perry of Bunn: grandchildren, Jimmy Perry, Timothy and Amber Castleberry, Devin Earp, Shania Oyler, and Trey Reisser; great-grandchildren, Brianna Perry and Aiden Castleberry; sister-in-law Tammy Andrews of Willow Spring; her companion, Jerry Moore, Jr. of Cary. In addition to her parents, Frank and Mary Walton Lynch, Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, Newton Henry Burgess, Jr. and brother, Barry Lynch. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday, January 24th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
