Morris E. Harper

Angier– Morris E. Harper, 75, passed away at his home on Monday surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ithaca, New York, he was the son of the late Morris Luther Harper and Ina Knuutila Harper. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 26th at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Morris is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cindy Harper; daughters, Heather Savage (Daniel) of Angier, Melissa Turner (John) of Willow Spring, Tammy Desjardins (Dave) of Spokane, WA; son, James Harper (Stevie) of Groton, NY; sister, Roberta Ludgate of Dryden, NY; many loving grandchildren including, but not limited to Kaitlin Savage, Hunter Savage, Christin Savage, Aden Harper, Peyton Harper, Cole Turner and Gage Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Compton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle Raleigh, NC 27607.
