Myrtle “Reecie” Partin

ANGIER – Myrtle Maurice “Reecie” Partin, 86, passed away at home Saturday. She was born in Harnett County and is the daughter of the late Talmadge and Jenny Gardner. She is predeceased by a brother, Gerald Pate and Grandson, Scott. She was a member of Angier Baptist Church. Reecie is survived by her husband, Russell, of 24 years, daughters Bonnie Howard (Tony), Donna Smith, a son, Frankie Gilbert, a brother, Clifford Pate, a sister, LaRue Linnekin, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 PM in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Angier with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
