Myrtle Ruth Wiggins

Angier - Myrtle Ruth Stone Wiggins, 86, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Stone and Bessie Moore Stone.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16th in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver St. Angier, NC 27501. Burial will follow at the Stone Family Cemetery, 118 Cottle Lake Dr. Coats, NC 27521. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Barbara Wiggins; son, Nelson Wiggins (Chriss Kondakor); grandson, Chad Wiggins (Hannah); great-grandchildren, Brayden Wiggins and Justin Wiggins; brother-in-law, Durwood Strickland.

In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Wiggins; son, Steve Wiggins; sisters, Lillie Mae Childress, Helen Parker, Jenny Strickland, and Nancy Parker; and a brother, Layton Stone.
