Nancy Carol Hart Rutledge

Nancy Carol Hart Rutledge passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019. A native of Granville County, Nancy was a long-time employee of Southern Bell (later ATT) before having to retire due to health. Nancy suffered for many years with major depression and intractable migraines, yet she still tried to maintain contact with her closest friends and family, often sending birthday and holiday cards. She was a dedicated member of West Raleigh Presbyterian Church, and especially their Fellowship Club. Nancy is survived by her husband, Randy Rutledge; her daughter, Lindsay Leming (Chris) of Raleigh; two grandsons, Oliver and Quincy Leming; her sister, Elizabeth Dean of Oxford; and her brother, Robert Taylor Hart of Wilmington. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, at 4 PM at Bryan-Lee Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh. The family will receive friends after the service. Burial will follow at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 6, at Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford, NC.
