Nancy Esther Boger

Nancy Ester Motsinger Boger, 82 years old, of Raleigh, NC passed away on 9/8/2023 in Raleigh, NC.

A memorial service will be held at Holland’s United Methodist Church located at 9433 Ten Ten Rd. Raleigh, NC 27603 on Sunday October 15, 2023, at 2:00 pm.

Nancy was born in High Point, NC to Clyde William and Mildred Lucille Motsinger on October 29, 1940. She went to school in Wallburg and graduated from Ledford High School in 1958. Nancy married William (Bill) Boger on 10/11/1961 in High Point, NC. Nancy graduated from nursing school at Charlotte Memorial and worked as a Radiology Technologist at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC and then for WakeMed in Raleigh before retiring in 2002.

Nancy loved gardening, playing board and card games until you cried uncle, cooking and traveling. She was active in her church and enjoyed the fellowship that can only be found there at Holland’s United Methodist Church. Nancy loved her family, and it can be said she never met a stranger. Her laugh was infectious as she would brighten up any room.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; Clyde and Mildred Motsinger, her siblings Leon Motsinger, Jim Motsinger, Doris Walker and Danny Motsinger. She is also preceded in death by her husband William Boger Sr.

Nancy is survived by her children Mike and Karen Metler, Bill and Elvira Boger, Kevin and Angie Boger, and Chris Boger. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Lindsey and Hayley (Kevin and Angie) Sara, Emma and Nina (Bill and Elvira) who were all the apple of her eye.

Memorials may be given to by making a donation to ASPCA (www.aspca.org) or to St. Jude Childrens Hospital (stjude.org) in lieu of flowers. Both of these organizations were dear to her heart.
