Nancy Lewis Williams Keyes

RALEIGH - Nancy Lewis Williams Keyes, 72, died in her home in Raleigh, NC on September 27, 2024.

Nancy was born in Warrenton, NC on July 2, 1952 to Arthur Julian Williams, Sr. and Nancy Lewis Harris. Nancy attended John Graham High School before getting her associate’s at Louisburg College in 1975. She continued her education at North Carolina State University to study botany but did not finish her degree as she began her 20-year career at the Ad-Pak, a print media company affiliated with Raleigh’s News and Observer. Nancy met the love of her life in her first year at the Ad-Pak and lived in Raleigh for the rest of her life.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father and mother, her step-mother, Frances M. Williams, her niece, Kelly Williams, and her husband, William “Rich” Richard Keyes. She is survived by her son, William “Jack” James Boren Keyes, her brother, Arthur Julian Williams, Jr., her nieces, Cathleen Williams Lane and Ryland Williams, her grand-nieces, Hunter Moore and Harper Mcfarland and her grand-nephew Rowe Mcfarland.

Nancy’s service will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:00 am.
