Nathan Bruce Altman

Raleigh – Nathan Bruce Altman, 81, passed away at his home on Monday, January 11, 2021. He retired from the railroad after 41 years of service. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. He is survived by daughter, Jo Altman Todd (Steve) of Four Oaks; son, Steve Altman (Fran) of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Jerry Altman (Connie); sister, Gail Altman Fish (Kenneth); grandchildren, Heath Forbes (Jill) of Hanahan, SC, Trever Forbes (Caley) of Seminole, FL, Chase and Jake Altman both of Fuquay-Varina ; great-grandchildren, Will, Ellie, Micah, Eli and Lydia Forbes. In addition to his parents, Hugh Lee Altman and Maude Cook Altman, Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Whittington Altman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bruce’s memory to a charity of your choosing or to Transitions Hospice Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
