Nathan Phillip Adams- beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend has gone to be with his heavenly Father.
Nathan grew up in Garner, NC and graduated from Garner Senior High School in 2006 where he was the student body president. He attended Garner Advent Christian Church for many years. In his teen years, he was significantly involved with local government and had a deep love for politics. He enjoyed history and spent a great deal of time and effort on researching family ancestry and lineage. Nathan was a fun loving, charismatic, humor driven person who never met a stranger. He had a great love for music, particularly Motown/R&B. Nathan always cherished spending time with his family and his friends. His long-time battle with addiction is now over and he is at peace with his eternal Savior.
Nathan is survived by his Parents, Phil and Sharon Adams of Garner; Sister, Amanda Adams Scholl and husband Josh of Willow Spring; Niece, Lila Scholl and Nephew, James Scholl of Willow Spring; Grandmother, Doris Blue of Dunn; Uncle, Ronnie Blue of Dunn; Uncle and Aunt, Wayne and Cynthia Adams of Greenville.
Nathan was preceded in death by his Grandfather, James Blue of Dunn; Grandfather, Durwood Adams of Dunn; Grandmother, Lila Adams of Raleigh; and Step Grandmother, Joyce Adams of Dunn.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 24th at 11:00 A.M. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Dunn: 1000 Fairground Rd. Dunn, NC 28334. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Healing Transitions: 1251 Goode St. Raleigh, NC 27603 or https://healing-transitions.org/donate/
